“In order to write, I draw on my combined personal history and examples from a wide variety of classic and contemporary written works. With every piece I create, I am truly in love with all aspects of the story, its characters, and their heart’s journey. If it were otherwise, how could I expect my readers to feel anything in response to having read it? I am particularly interested in showcasing beauty and courage rooted in unexpected and challenging places.”
